How Listed selects and ranks directories
Listed tracks 108 directories where startups can submit a product. Here is how they get on the list, how they are ordered and how often the data is checked.
Selection
Directories are included when they accept startup or product submissions, are actively maintained, and are relevant to startups, AI products, SaaS or MCP tools.
Ranking
Directories are sorted by Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR), a 0 to 100 score of backlink strength. MCP and plugin registries have no DR ranking and are grouped into three tiers by reach and relevance.

- Where people search for AI tools by task.

- Comparison and review sites buyers trust.
- Communities
- Founder and builder communities.
- MCP and plugin registries
- Distribution for MCP servers, plugins and skills.
Updates
The list is reviewed regularly and the last verified date is shown on every page. New directories are added as they launch, such as Meta's Muse Connector Platform in September 2026.
